Hello
fellow anglers,
Hello fellow
anglers!
Here is the Naples
Florida fishing report for May, June, July, and
August 2008.
Offshore fishing in
Naples is great in the summertime. First of all we
have been catching allot of Black Tip Sharks.
Sharks, Sharks, and more Sharks. We average about 6
in a half day trip. We have got as many as 22 in a
single trip in May.
We have been
catching many Grouper, Snapper, and Spanish Mackerel
as well. We usually fish 6 to 9 miles out in about
30' of water. We usually bottom fish, but sometimes
will mix in some trolling as well.
In the Backwater's
between Naples and Marco Island, we have been
catching Trout, Pompano, Redfish, Black Drum,
Ladyfish, Whiting, Jacks, and Snook. Snook are
closed through the end of August.
Depending on the
tide, number of anglers, skill level, and the fish,
we will target the appropriate fish for the day.
Water temperatures
will be in the high eighties and the air
temperatures will be in the low nineties.
We look forward to
fishing with you soon on a Naples fishing charter!
